Electro-Mechanical Assembler

We have an immediate job opening for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler that will be responsible for assembling parts of Direct Current Fast Chargers (DCFC). The assembler's responsibilities include participation in manufacturing, quality management of products, intake of delivered parts, and packaging of final outgoing products. The person filling this position will need to be schedule-oriented and perform work with quality and safety top-of-mind.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in electro-mechanical assembly
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• A thorough understanding of electrical codes and standards
• Experience with electrical assembly tools and equipment, as well as an understanding of safety procedures
• Experience with hand and power-tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to continuous improvement
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and convey those opportunities through oral and written communications

Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete work set out by the Lead Assembler in a timely manner
• Ensure that all electrical assemblies are completed safety, to the highest quality standards, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards
• Maintain a safe working environment for all team members by ensuring that all safety procedures are always followed
• Ensure that all tools and equipment used in the electrical assembly process are in good and working condition and are properly maintained
• Liaise with other departments, such as engineering, design, and testing to ensure that all electrical assemblies meet the requirements
