Buyer

Salary Range: $52,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

Location: Hillsboro

Hours: 6 am – 3:30 pm

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Buyer to join the team of a leading provider of food equipment solutions. The Buyer will play a critical role in our supply chain management by sourcing and purchasing high-quality parts and supplies to meet the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional products to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality and price on raw materials and goods.
Collaborate with Materials and Production Managers to ensure timely procurement of required materials.
Conduct regular supplier evaluations and performance reviews to assess quality, reliability, and adherence to contract terms.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules using our procurement management system.

List Qualification or Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of three years relevant experience
Proficient in MS Office Tools (Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to multi-task simultaneously while working on deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Customer and results-driven with the ability to negotiate and be a decision-maker
