About Daisy: Daisy is a start-up revolutionizing the home and commercial automation integration industry, dedicated to making smart living accessible to homeowners through a new national brand. As we continue to grow and expand our branch network, we are seeking a select group of General Managers to drive success leading our expanding network of local branches in locations across the country. As one of the earliest group of General Managers at Daisy, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of our branch network.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our Fort Lauderdale, FL branch, an established home and commercial smart home integration provider which we are purchasing and converting into a model Daisy branch. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and collaborate with a talented team of smart home integration professionals, and contribute to the expansion of the first national brand in this space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Branch Operations Management:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the branch, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain efficient processes to maximize productivity and profitability.
  • Take advantage of our world-class training and support system designed to ensure success.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of smart home integrators and support staff.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
  • Prioritize exceptional customer service and ensure that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Oversee the installation and integration of smart home systems to meet customer requirements and quality standards.
  • Provide ongoing service and support for our customers to maintain customer loyalty and trust.
  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Use our brand marketing and sales processes to implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion, partnership development, and market penetration.
  • Monitor sales performance and take proactive steps to achieve branch sales targets.
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage the branch budget, ensuring cost control and profitability, using our established metrics for best-in-class integration companies.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and report on branch financial health.
  • Implement cost-effective measures to optimize branch profitability.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to smart home integration.
  • Prepare regular reports on branch performance, including sales, expenses, and key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in home services, technology or related industries.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, financial reports, and P&L statements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering top-notch service.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve common goals.
  • Familiarity with smart home technologies and integrations is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving industry.
