Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installation, service, and inspections of kitchen hoods, fire extinguisher and associated systems
- Prepare for kitchen hood installations by reviewing orders, gathering equipment, supplies, and tools
- Performs kitchen hood installations by surveying and evaluating the location, identifying hood installation requirements
- Verifies kitchen hood functionality by testing equipment, connections, and signals; identifies and corrects any and all problems
- Performs system tests as required by contract, permit or NFPA 96
- Maintains records by documenting installations
- Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns; answering questions
- Responding to service requests, diagnose system malfunctions of systems and making adjustments, repairs or replacing equipment
- Maintain safe and secure work environment by following safe practices
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Required Skills:
- High School Diploma / GED
- 1 years' experience required
- NICET or CSA Certification preferred
- Ability to install, inspect, or service kitchen hoods and fire extinguishers
- Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
- Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License
- Must read and speak English
