Materials Coordinator

We currently have an immediate, full time opening for the following in our Portland office:

Parts Department Lead / Materials Coordinator

This position will be responsible for the following:
• Receiving, storing, distributing, and shipping materials, parts supplies, and equipment.
• Unpacking incoming items, checking goods received against purchase orders and packing slips and rejecting unsatisfactory items as necessary
• Maintaining electronic and written records of all goods received and shipped.
• Posting weights and shipping charges and preparing goods for final shipment.
• Purchasing
• General Inventory Control
• Cycle Counting
• Customer Service
• Expediting
• Parts Stocking, pulling and delivery

Qualifications for this position are:
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years Shipping/Receiving experience.
• Working knowledge of computerized stocking and shipping logic.
• Knowledge of UPS shipping software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Type 30 wpm.
• Data entry / 10-key skills.
• Must communicate effectively with management, coworkers, customers and vendors.
• This position may be cross-trained for Stock Support and Logistics Clerk assignments.

You must have a clean DMV and participate in our pre-employment drug testing.
