Journeyman Lineman or Apprentice Lineman Stanton, NE

Job Description: The Stanton County Public Power District (SCPPD) is a public power district located in northeast Nebraska and is currently accepting applications for the position of Journeyman Lineman or Apprentice Lineman. Duties will range from overhead to underground line work, including both construction and maintenance. Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Electrical Line Worker and/or Line Worker Certification Program required. Current valid Nebraska Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Trained or ability to be trained in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required. Ability to work overtime required. Must live within a reasonable distance of reporting site with management approval to ensure appropriate response times. Various line worker experience levels will be considered. Applicants with technological experience in the areas of electronic relay control, regulator control, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), load control, troubleshooting and computer skills are a plus.
