Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
- Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
- Ensures lab is kept orderly and equipment is being put away.
- Confirms all equipment remains in calibration, and coordinates with metrology department to send equipment for calibration.
- Coordinates and supports multiple teams to manage equipment and space availability.
- Supports teams to execute testing as needed
- Will support our team moving labs to a new location and key testing planned for early next year.
Education/Experience:
- GED or equivalent
- 2+ years in lab management/relevant experience
- Regulated industry experience
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- PLC experience / knowledge
- Laser optics knowledge
- Maximo software
- LOTO
- Root cause analysis experience
- Strong operating knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint computer applications
- Knowledge of quality control concepts desirable
