Lab Technician

Location: On-site in Louisville, CO

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
  • Ensures lab is kept orderly and equipment is being put away. 
  • Confirms all equipment remains in calibration, and coordinates with metrology department to send equipment for calibration.
  • Coordinates and supports multiple teams to manage equipment and space availability.
  • Supports teams to execute testing as needed
  • Will support our team moving labs to a new location and key testing planned for early next year.

Education/Experience:

• GED or equivalent
• 2+ years in lab management/relevant experience
• Regulated industry experience

• Laser optics knowledge
• Maximo software
• LOTO
• Root cause analysis experience
• Strong operating knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint computer applications
• Knowledge of quality control concepts desirable
