Dental Assistant

Godley Station Dental is looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in Pooler, GA. As a Dental Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced dentists and hygienists to provide high-quality dental care to our patients. GSD has a positive team culture driven practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Manage patient records
• Maintain a clean and organized environment
• Perform basic lab tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models
• Schedule appointments and follow up with patients as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Recommended completion of a Dental Assistant program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Prior dental office experience preferred, but not required

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Dental Assistant (Preferred)
• DEA Certification (Preferred)
