Physical Therapist

Sol Physical Therapy is an outpatient provider of Physical Therapy Services. We are currently seeking dynamic Licensed Physical Therapists to join our team in one of our three Tucson locations.

We are seeking dedicated clinicians preferably with a focus in hand therapy, orthopedics, vestibular, sports, and concussion rehabilitation.

Job Duties:

• Applicants with a strong background in manual therapy and the development of exercise programs for orthopedic patients preferred.
• Prior certifications or interest in becoming certified in dry needling, blood-flow restriction, kinesiotape are preferred.
• Meets the patient's goals/needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results, determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
• Helps patients accomplish treatment plans and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises and assisting patients in performing physical activities.
• Administers physical therapy treatments by using soft tissue techniques, initiating traction, applying physical agents and ultrasound machines, and directing treatments given by assistants.
• Evaluates effects of physical therapy treatments and fits of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Completes discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers.
• Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs by educating patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs.
• Recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommending outpatient or home health follow-up programs.
• Documents patient care services by charting in the EHR.
• Maintains patient confidence and protects the company's operations by keeping information confidential.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

• Must have attained a Masters or Doctoral Degree in physical therapy or a related field
• Must be licensed as a physical therapist in the state of Arizona (no restrictions or encumbrances)
• Experience using EMR
• Comfortable using various software including the MS 365 suite
• Bilingual a plus
