.NET Developer (100% Remote)

We are seeking a C#/.NET Developer to join our team working on custom built systems that help organizations leverage technology for large-scale, commercial printing initiatives.  This is a client-facing, full-stack and full lifecycle development within the Microsoft .NET tech stack. 

OVERVIEW  

Responsible for building high quality, secure software that meets the project requirements and adheres to best practices and company development standards. Debugs existing code to solve technical problems and provides recommendations to solve potential issues within an application. This position is also involved in documentation, testing and code review processes.

• Ensures code is scalable, secure, and performance minded
• The ability to write high-quality, efficient, and easily testable code.
• Design, code and debug applications in various software languages
• Modifying and enhancing software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces
• Help create applications to interface with other platforms and systems as needed
• Identifies problems and recommends corresponding solutions
• Analyzing technical requirements of the project and adapting the code in line with them
• Experience with SQL Server and SQL programming
• Ensures code being delivered has been unit tested and participates in code-review process
• Documents code and ensures it is readable and understandable by other developers
• Follows company coding and version control standards
• Investigating and using new technologies where relevant

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or technical experience equivalent
• 3+years for Software Development
• Programming in C#, .NET, SQL Server, Javascript or Angular (Full-Stack)
• Understanding of best practices within SDLC
• Understanding of interaction between application and infrastructure layer
• Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of algorithms and data-structure
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure DevOps and ability to develop or maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with containerization and virtualization technologies
• Experience working within an Agile methodology environment is a plus
