Location: La Salle, CO
Shift: Days 8:00-5:00 shift M-F
Pay: $23 - $25 /HR Great benefits, 401k, PTO etc
Type: Direct Hire full time 40 hrs/week position potential for overtime
The Inventory Control Specialist primary role will be maintaining the accuracy of all inventory including raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for the entire company. Working closely with management to prevent loss, ensure the accuracy of inventory, and improve existing procedures and policies to best meet company objectives.
Day to Day Activities:
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly and annual inventory audits and continuous cycle counts of all inventory
- Collaboration with the Director of Operations and Quality Manager with audits and product quality / material defects to resolve issues immediately
- Accurately record inventory data and reconcile discrepancies with other teams quickly.
- Ensure that raw materials, packaging, and finished products are stocked correctly and maintain quality in storage.
- Receive inbound materials in the ERP system.
- Work within a FIFO model to prevent product expiration.
- Attendance, safety, accuracy and speed are important in this role
- Keep warehouse and production storage areas clean, organized, and free of clutter.
- Complete all applicable quality and inventory records according to Company SOPs.
- Responsible for other duties as assigned, assisting others and basic team mentality
Background:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and 4+ years of inventory control
- Proficiency with mathematics, organization, time-management and attendance
- Proficiency with ERP systems, work processor, database, and spreadsheet software.
- Experience with warehouse stocking systems with a focus on organization & flow.
- Must be able to write, train, follow all SOP documents and flow charts.
- Ability to work safely on concrete, lifting up to 50lbs, and train/operate a forklift
- Communication, organization, attention to detail and sense of urgency are paramount
- Ability to work overtime when necessary and chip in to complete team goals
