Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth transition to their dining experience.
• Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover and accommodate guest preferences.
• Provide accurate wait times and manage reservations effectively to minimize guest wait times.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and serving staff to coordinate seating and ensure timely service.
• Answer phone calls and assist guests with inquiries, reservations, and special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host/hostess station and lobby area.
• Monitor and manage the flow of guests in the restaurant to maintain a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist in resolving guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak dining hours.
• Positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service to guests.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to meet the demands of our business and uphold our commitment to exceptional service and hospitality.

Requirements:

• Previous experience using reservation management software is a plus.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
