Summary We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Everas. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing individualized support to people with developmental disabilities, focusing on implementing behavioral and habilitation plans. Responsibilities include collaboration with Everas team members on staff in-service development, conducting one-on-one therapy utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and maintaining accurate documentation. The Behavioral Support Specialist will also facilitate training for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), advocate for client needs, and ensure compliance with Everas policies and procedures. This position requires advanced communication skills, a commitment to client advocacy, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Behavior Technician duties include but are not limited to:
- Acts as an advocate for client needs; research and coordinate behavioral support services
- Visits all clients as assigned to provide direct one on one therapy using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Demonstrate ABA techniques to teach client new skills, including NET, DTT and Modeling.
- Help prepare clients individualized daily schedules
- Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Assess and document individual client’s behavior and progress on implemented plans and protocols
- Support instruction of DSP staff on the implementation of behavior observation systems, training/support plans and behavior intervention guidelines
- Prepare and complete all necessary documentation of assessments and therapies in clients EHR
- Research and secure all necessary and appropriate behavior support services and adaptive equipment as instructed by supervisor

Job Requirements:
- High School diploma
- RBT certification
- Ability to exercise independent judgement
- Valid NJ Driver’s License
- Required to achieve certification in and perform CPR and CMT
- Experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
