We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of Cloud Systems Administrator, to work in San Jose, CA.

Pay rate: $65-$70/hr On W2
$75-$80/hr On C2C

As a Cloud Systems Administrator, you will manage and oversee our comprehensive suite of Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, including SAP SaaS, Coupa, and Workday, among others. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance, security, and compliance of our cloud-based applications. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our SaaS applications to ensure their availability, performance, and security.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure secure and efficient access to cloud services.
  • Implement and maintain security policies and procedures, conduct regular security audits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks or issues, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency.
  • Liaise with SaaS providers to resolve any issues, negotiate service agreements, and stay updated on new features and updates.
  • Coordinate with SaaS vendors to clone non-production environments to facilitate testing and development.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and service records. Provide regular reports on system status, incidents, and usage metrics.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience managing SaaS applications.
  • Proficiency in managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security policies and procedures.
  • Ability to monitor system performance metrics and implement optimizations to improve efficiency.
  • Excellent vendor management skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and negotiate service agreements.
  • Experience coordinating with SaaS providers to clone non-production environments.
  • Strong documentation skills, with the ability to maintain detailed records of system configurations and processes.
  • Proficient in generating regular reports on system status, incidents, and usage metrics.
