Job Title: HR Director
Location : Los Angeles Metropolitan Area (Hybrid). May required 1 day onsite/ week. Required business travel of two days per month.
Job Description:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
10+ years of HR functional experience, including 5+ years of HR Generalist experience directly supporting employees.
Demonstrated senior leadership experience in a high-growth environment building people processes and structures from ground up.
Proven strategic thought-leader who is not afraid of tactical work. Has a high sense of ownership and desire for problem solving.
Experience supporting talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and organization design.
Emotionally intelligent and able to build strong trust and relationships with leaders and employees of diverse backgrounds at all levels.
Excellent project management, change management and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities with professionalism and high quality work.
Demonstrated high levels of integrity, judgement and discretion when dealing with HR related matters. Skilled with conflict management techniques.
Strong verbal and written communication skills including excellent interpersonal skills necessary for leadership, team building, and multi-level communication.
Expert in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Ability to quickly learn custom UC databases, systems, and web-based software.
Preferred:
MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field.
SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification.
UC experience in an HR related role.
Job Summary:
The CEB HR Director will be responsible for the people experience and HR operations business. From strategy development to direct employee support, the HR Director will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and report to the CEB Executive Director. Strategic leadership responsibilities include using CEB's long-term business plan to build a people strategy and execution plan to support the business growth. Employee facing responsibilities include talent acquisition, on-/off-boarding employees, records management, compensation, benefits, leave administration, employee and labor relations, and payroll management.
