Civil or Mechanical Engineer (Wastewater Treatment Plant)

Graham Technologies (GTECH) is looking for a Civil or Mechanical Engineer (Wastewater Treatment Plant) in Kaneohe Bay, HI, to join our fast-growing team of over 70+ members.

We are looking for an Engineer to support the Facilities Maintenance Control Branch with Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) System technical advisory/support. In this position, you will assist in designing, planning, monitoring, and inspecting Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) systems, effluent irrigation, and wastewater collection systems.

Required Skills:

• Professional Engineering License or ten years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as customer service skills due to daily interaction with various levels of rank, authority, and position, both military and civilian.
• Extensive background knowledge in WWTP systems, down to the component level of processes
• Detail knowledge/understanding of how the processes of one component affect the other components in the system as well as the overall system.
• Working knowledge of the DoD and Marine Corps policies and regulations related to facilities planning, engineering, and maintenance.

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of skills related to the development of professional-level correspondence and the management of a program
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as customer service skills due to daily interaction with various levels of rank, authority, and position, both military and civilian
• Experience working on DoD installations on facilities projects, maintenance, and operations
• Experience with facilities planning and programming (MILCON / special projects scope
• Experience working with Naval Facilities (NAVFAC) and the Army Corps of Engineers
