JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Under the direction of the Billing Management, the Billing Clerk Level 2 is responsible for meeting daily client invoicing quotas, researching work orders in proprietary computer system, and work collaboratively with various team members. As a vital initial process of the billing department, it is important to meet client requirements for invoicing as well as RSM Compliance.

This position is not a supervisory role. This role will work collaboratively with positions in the same or different department.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job is in an open space office environment with considerable background noise and disturbances.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is a sedentary role; however, occasional filing may be required. This role would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Other regular physical demands include standing, sitting, walking, stooping, repetitive motion, lifting not more than fifteen pounds, reaching, typing.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with 40 hours of work or more per week. Days and hours of work are the normal business hours from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Any overtime work must be approved by manager prior to working overtime hours.
Travel
No travel is required for this position.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum 1 year experience in customer service or billing in an office environment OR College Degree with some office experience.
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the U.S without needing sponsorship at time of hiring or in the future.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Under the direction of the Billing Management, the Billing Clerk Level 2 is responsible for meeting daily client invoicing quotas, researching work orders in proprietary computer system, and work collaboratively with various team members. As a vital initial process of the billing department, it is important to meet client requirements for invoicing as well as RSM Compliance.
Essential Functions
- Reviewing work orders status' and verify documents are uploaded, as well as confirming all information is correct on vendor invoices. Analyzing vendor invoices for accurate pricing and sign off sheets to ensure proper billing.
- Monitor work order margins and NTE limits prior to invoicing
- Review work order status on client systems
- Preparation of client billing, with attention to client rates and compliance to contract. Ability to read and interpret client contracts.
- Client invoicing through multiple third-party systems. Current platforms are Service Channel, Ariba, Corrigo, Ecotrak, Fexa, Nexus, Office Trax.
- Send client invoices per established client specific process'
- Manage billing email
- Work in collaboration with all RSM teams Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Account Executives, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Procurement and Finance to invoice all clients in a timely manner

- Communication proficiency
