Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they approach the cashier station.
- Accurately ring up purchases and process payments using cash registers or POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions securely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, including stocking merchandise and supplies as needed.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, services, and event details.
- Assist with bagging merchandise and providing assistance to customers as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service throughout the event.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in cash handling and customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash registers or POS systems.
