Warehouse Operator (Equipment Operator)

Express Employment Professionals in Laguna Hills is seeking a versatile and physically capable Warehouse and Equipment Operator to join our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our warehouse operations.

This is M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm position and the pay is up to $29/hr. DOE.

The company will provide training and offer benefits after the evaluation period.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist fabricators and machinists through lifting and material handling, ensuring raw materials and pipes are systematically organized on racks.
• Receive, check, and store deliveries efficiently, while keeping the warehouse organized.
• Perform weekly maintenance and cleaning of warehouse machinery and tooling.
• Execute inventory management tasks, label parts, and organize tools, materials, and supplies on pallet racks.
• Safely operate warehouse machines including forklifts, vertical and horizontal bandsaws, and press brakes, following all safety protocols and training guidelines.
• Ensure meticulous cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including performing end-of-day cleanups and reorganization of all tools and workstations.
• Manage front office duties such as restocking necessary supplies and maintaining cleanliness in office and common areas.
• Successful completion of the company-provided training and acquisition of Forklift and Press Brake certifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to frequently lift and maneuver heavy objects
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, and the ability to wire up DC systems using a variety of crimpers.
• Experience in operating forklifts, shop gantries, and other heavy machinery with a willingness to undergo training as required.
• Organizational skills to manage supplies and inventory, and the ability to follow detailed schematic and manual instructions.
• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders safely.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for a collaborative work environment.
• Dedication to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
