Job Description

This position is a real-time operating position and involves working a rotating 12-hour shift schedule with both day and night shifts, including holidays. Responsible for: preparing,

communicating, monitoring and updating resource availabilities of a fleet of generation sources to respective entities; communicating commitment instructions to plant personnel; monitoring real-time output levels of generation sources to ensure data accuracy and unit profitability; reviewing real-time energy usage from member cities to evaluate data accuracy; facilitating and assisting communications between member city and engineering staff to coordinate energy outages and restoration; preparing reports that evaluate previous day output levels and economics to both internal and external parties. Must be able to work independently and think creatively.

Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Energy Management, Accounting, Finance, Math or a similar field of study. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience. The applicant must be proficient in the use of computers and software, especially Excel; and have good oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills are a must.

Dupont Schedule (24/7 shift coverage)
--> Work 4 consecutive 12-hour night shifts, followed by 3 days off duty
--> Work 3 consecutive 12-hour day shifts, followed by 1 day off duty, work 3 consecutive 12-hour night shifts, followed by 3 days off duty
--> Work 4 consecutive 12-hour day shifts, then have 7 consecutive days off duty
--> 1 week off
--> 1 week, 4 consecutive days for relief week which may be used for time off, followed by 3 days off duty
--> 1 week, 4 consecutive days used for training, followed by 2 days off before starting over
