1 World Translation is an award-winning company of 20 years serving the medical, school district, private business and general community in providing quality linguists for both Interpreting (verbal) and Translation services (document) in many languages both on-site and remotely.

Linguists with certificates have the most work options. These are national certificates like Bridging the Gap/BTG or the Community Interpreter/TCI or MITiO certificates. If you don't have a certificate, we can guide/assist you in getting that taken care of relatively inexpensively and quickly to enter this great, flexible career as long as you are 92-95% fluent in English and at least 1 other language.

If you have a language test to prove your fluency: wonderful.

*Pay ranges $28-40/hr as an Independent Contractor. Spanish is paid at the lower ranges; the harder to find languages at the higher levels.

IC work means your taxes are not paid and no paid insurance and employee-style benefits are not provided.
