We are on the lookout for a seasoned Xactimate Estimator who thrives on action and loves to make a difference. If you're passionate about helping people and have a knack for crafting epic estimates for large loss fire, water, mitigation, and reconstruction projects, this is the opportunity for you!
This position is based in Ledgewood, NJ, and will require travel throughout NJ and the tri-state area.
REQUIRED - Minimum 5 years experience using Xactimate software writing large loss estimates.
Responsibilities will include:
- Be the superhero liaison, building and maintaining client relationships, and maintain solid connections with insurance adjusters and claim representatives.
- Craft clear, detailed, and accurate estimates using Xactimate software.
- Embrace challenges like a pro, handling supplements and change orders with finesse and ensuring everyone is on the same page.
- Work with customers to ensure understanding of the restoration process and handle all inquiries during the estimating process.
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters to provide updates and changes as needed.
- Follow up with adjusters for estimate approval.
- Utilize 3D virtual tour equipment and software.
You will need:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Xactimate Software.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in residential construction. Commercial construction experience is a PLUS.
- A positive, confident, and upbeat attitude.
- Excellent computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Superb communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Valid NJ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
90-day probationary period
