Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Position Summary

McKinney is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to oversee facilities maintenance in our two locations, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo. We are looking for someone with strong social skills, organizational skills, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance. For this position you will need to be proactive with handling preventative work. We are a small company that values our employees and want someone who will work hard for us and maintaining our facilities for all current and future employees. Each day is different, offering the ability to prioritize tasks, be creative and use the initiative to problem solve.

Primary Responsibilities
· Strong knowledge of all-around building maintenance.
· Be proficient in working with computers and calendar management.
· Highly organized to handle work at a fast pace, efficiently with good follow through.
· Ability to multitask and manage multiple items at once.
· Be proactive to handle anything that comes your way.
· Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
· Interpersonal and communication skills are essential for members of our team.
Education, Experience & Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· At least 2-3 years’ experience in building maintenance.
Skills & Characteristics
· Technical expertise; sufficient knowledge of basic operating principles, safety requirements, and technical specifications.
· Interpersonal skills; being precise and timely with communication, summarizing maintenance activities for reporting.
