Property Paving, Inc. is a full-service concrete paving and asphalt paving contractor, committed to excellence and innovation in every project we undertake. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team and oversee our operational processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and adherence to quality standards.

The Production Manager will play a critical role in supervising organizational processes, coordinating daily operational activities, and executing the company’s logistics strategy. This position requires ensuring appropriate staffing levels, maintaining adherence to organizational and supply procedures, and overseeing scheduling and project budgets. The Production Manager will actively engage in all areas of the crew’s work, manage fleet, inventory, and warehouse operations, and focus on achieving company quality standards on all projects.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with departmental heads to support departmental and organization-wide goals.
  • Communicate and execute specific tasks to department managers.
  • Conduct daily and weekly meetings with Foremen.
  • Assist in training initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate scheduling of projects.
  • Ensure all completed work meets company quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Address and resolve client complaints or issues.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Sales team in bidding and executing projects.
  • Monitor estimates and job site issues.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings.
  • Identify and report quality problems in site preparation, making necessary corrections.
  • Manage job site activities, including coordination with truck operators, suppliers, traffic control, and other contractors.
  • Foster open communication with all departments, external vendors, and clients.
  • Oversee the fleet and equipment department and personnel.
  • Manage the CRM system.
  • Assist in prioritizing repair tasks.
  • Oversee facilities maintenance and personnel.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Ensure organization and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Supervise warehouse operations to maximize efficiency.
  • Oversee or assist with personnel actions, such as new hires, training, safety, promotions, transfers, terminations, or disciplinary measures.
  • Manage the Performance Evaluation process of assigned unit and provide leadership, counseling, and coaching to employees.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Four-year bachelor's degree in related field of construction management, project management, or business is preferred.
  • At least eight years of experience in managing construction projects and staff, with at least four years in a high-level management position.
  • Prior knowledge of asphalt, concrete, ADA, and other restrictions related to the general commercial paving industry.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
