Job Description
Vascular Technology Travel Ultrasound Tech
Responsibilities:
- Provides a preliminary report of technical findings for the interpreting surgeon/referring physician
- Collaborates with appropriate teams to ensure accurate patient data entry, and scheduling, as well as timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment
- Can provide staffing coverage as needed and in some cases with short notice
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Successful graduation from an accredited sonography program
- Certificate by the ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS)
- Current BLS certification
- Currently maintained minimum necessary CME as required by ARDMS or CCI
- Will provide training on more specialized exams
