HVAC Engineer

**contract to direct hire role and hybrid work schedule**

About this role:

You will provide support in HVAC engineering analysis, design; prepare design concepts, calculations; provide engineering support for company business, sites, plants and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and support for technical enquiries related to HVAC disciplines.
• Provide design support for sites and projects through design, implementation, and optimization of HVAC systems for efficiency and sustainability.
• Development of HVAC design parameters, and associated technology supporting plants and projects.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for capital projects. Ensure compliance with industry standards and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Construction support, Plant support and Site support as required.
• Support development of best practices for global and regional – HVAC design.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at elevated heights. Candidates must be familiar with, or willing to undergo training in, the proper usage and maintenance of safety equipment to ensure safe movement and operations at heights.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• A minimum requirement for this US based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Skills:

Advance understanding and in-depth knowledge of the following areas of the HVAC Engineering:

• The diverse types of HVAC systems and equipment.
• HVAC system sizing and design.
• HVAC direct digital controls (DDC).
• Technical HVAC specification writing.
• Industry Standards and Mechanical Code requirements.
• Advanced knowledge on Engineering software tools such as Carrier HAP or Trane Trace, Microstation or AutoCAD.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• PE License(s)
