We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental x-rays, intraoral photographs, and impressions for study models.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with patient scheduling and billing.
Perform chairside assisting duties, including handing instruments to the dentist, maintaining suction, and retracting tissues.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and assist with medical emergencies as needed.
Provide support to other dental team members and contribute to a positive working environment.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Adhere to all regulatory requirements and standards of practice for dental assistants.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program and current registration as a Dental Assistant (RDA) in CA.
CPR certification and knowledge of emergency procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Proficiency in dental software and digital imaging systems.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while prioritizing patient comfort and satisfaction.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.
