Day Shift: 9am-5pm

Responsibilities:

• The Maintenance Manager is responsible for preventative maintenance, and general plant maintenance and repair with a focus on production machinery and mechanical systems. The maintenance department is responsible for all equipment and well as building facilities and systems.

• For mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic systems, the Maintenance Manager must investigate and diagnose causes of breakdowns and develop solutions to reduce or eliminate future occurrences.

• The Maintenance Manager must coordinate with manufacturing on the scheduling of down time for repair and maintenance

• The Maintenance Manager must drive improvements that result in reduced downtime and improved efficiency.

• The Maintenance Manager must manage spare parts inventory and source components, parts and equipment as needed.

  Desired Skills and Experience:

• 3 years supervisory experience in a stamping operation is required.

• A degree in engineering is required.

• A minimum of five years as mechanical or engineering technician in a

  manufacturing environment.

• PLC installation and programming experience is required.

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects to completion

• Creative problem solver able to work independently and with a sense of urgency

• Hands on experience with a wide range of production equipment.

• Able to trouble shoot and repair equipment
