POSITION SUMMARY:The Utility Worker I Water Distribution position is responsible for a multitude of tasks, which may vary from day to day, but will primarily involve performing tasks required in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the water distribution system and related components; performs work as assigned in water meter reading and maintenance and sewer collection systems.This is an entry level position that trains to acquire skills in the installation and repair of water and sewer piping and all related components, water meter reading, installationand repair, and equipment maintenance and operation in preparation for future advancement. This position works under the direct supervision of the Division Supervisor or Division Manager and reports indirectly to the Assistant Director and the Director of Utilities.
CLOSING DATE: Until Filled
WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Occasional After Hours Needed
WORK LOCATION: In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requireswork to be performed onsite.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $20.05 perhour and will increase to$20.85per hour after 6 months of successful probation.Please click on this link for compensation/benefits information.Candidates who significantlysurpass the minimum qualifications may be eligible for a higher starting salary.
