Bilingual Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator on the DTG Recycle Team, you will be part of a community of valued employees who work together and create an environment that is welcoming, caring and trusting. What you will be doing

• Performs inspections at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Operating front end loader and/or excavator safely and proficiently.
• Performing light maintenance on equipment.
• This position will size large steel and concrete for further processing in our recycling operations.
• Visually screen construction and demolition debris for unacceptable materials.
• Identify unacceptable material on incoming loads.
• Communicate efficiently and effectively with truck drivers on where to offload incoming material.
• Direct inbound loads to the tipping floor.
• Assist co-workers with heavy items.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility and general housekeeping.
• Other job duties will be added as needed.

What you will bring along

• Bilingual in English and Spanish Required
• Experience with operating and excavator or front-end loader

• Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, etc. for extended periods of time
• Able to pass a drug test.
• Availability for occasional Saturdays.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
