Manual 12-ton DiAcro Setup Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manual 12-ton Di-Acro Setup Operator to join our sheet metal manufacturing team. As a Setup Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating manual 12-ton Di-Acro press brakes to bend, shape, and form sheet metal parts according to specifications.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Set up and prepare manual 12-ton Di-Acro press brake for production runs.

·         Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine proper setup and bending sequences.

·         Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job.

·         Program machine settings include bend angles, back gauge positions, and tonnage requirements.

·         Safely operate the press brake to bend, shape, and form sheet metal parts to precise measurements.

·         Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary to ensure product quality and accuracy.

·         Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

·         Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

 QUALIFICATIONS

·         High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         Proven experience as a Setup Operator in sheet metal manufacturing, specifically with manual 12-ton Di-Acro press brakes.

·         Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.

·         Ability to accurately measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools.

·         Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

·         Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to machine operation.

·         Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation.

·         Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
