Customer Service Specialist

Glenwood Falls Animal Hospital is ready to immediately add a Customer Service Representative to our team. We are seeking a person who genuinely understands the importance of treating our clients and their pets as part of our family by providing high quality medicine, care, and customer service.

Our hospital is a fast-paced environment, and the right candidate will have the ability to recognize that teamwork and dependability are both essential for our success in providing excellent customer service and care. Work hours will vary Monday – Friday between the hours of 7am – 7pm. No weekend shifts currently required.

Customer Service Representatives are responsible for appointment scheduling, multi-line telephone management, admitting patients, invoicing and cash handling, client education and communication, as well as maintaining a positive personal attitude and teamwork mentality. Our CSR team works directly to support our veterinary technicians, doctors, and managers.

Position Requirements:

High School Degree or equivalent.

Customer Service background.

Experience with basic office functions: typing, emailing, adapting to new veterinary software, strong telephone skills, and the ability to multi-task.

Physical Effort: Ability to lift up-to 40lbs as well as sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.

Full-time and part-time positions are available. Previous veterinary experience is not required but strongly preferred. Salary will be based upon experience.
