The Data Scientist will function in a dynamic role and will be instrumental in advancing the National System for Geospatial Intelligence strategies. Developing automated collection models, dynamic analytic models, and workflow automations to optimize operational performance will be at the forefront of position responsibilities. You will be provided the opportunity to maximize efficiency in data science and visual programming to streamline analysis tasks and enhance technical solutions for intelligence integration, automated collections, and information sharing. The Data Scientist will be involved in extensive data processing, mining, and visualization, while also performing gap analysis on existing technologies as well as communicating progress and findings to stakeholders and support customer elicitation to identify processing issues and emerging requirements. Training and integrating new tools and capabilities will be key aspects of this role. Coherence with Bayesian Belief Network (BBN) to manage uncertainty, support decision-making, enable predictive analysis, and enhance situational awareness will be inherently valuable in this role.

Requirements:

• TS/SCI
• Junior: HS Diploma or equivalent + 3 years' experience; Mid-Level: Associate degree +3 years' experience; Senior: Bachelor's degree +7 years' experience
• Proficiency in common geospatial software applications and tools such as JEMA, FADE/MIST, ECO/ETAS, Python, SQL, Git, GIMS and more
• High level of skill enhancing technical solutions to problems related to IC intelligence integration, automated collections, tipping and cueing, information sharing, and visualization
• Expertise with BBN and Markov-Chain modelling to drive predictive, activity-based automated collection
