Lathe Operator/Milling Machinist

Rico Manufacturing has a full-time position in our Machine Shop for a Lathe Operator/Milling Machinist. We are seeking a hard-working team player capable of quickly learning new procedures, technologies, and machinery.

Job Essentials:

• Ability to set-up and operate milling machines and lathes.
• Evaluates blueprints, drawings, sample parts and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations to fabricate parts.
• Operates Metal working machine tools
• Assembles parts into completed units
• Lay out and verify dimensions of parts, using precision measuring and marking.
• Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining or enters comme
• Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines.
• Cleans (deburs) and labels all work pieces for the next stage of work.
• Designs fixtures, tooling, to meet special engineering needs
• Ability to work independently, good attendance, and clean work area.Working ability of shop math and intermediate skills in blue print reading, mechanics, metal properties layouts and machining procedures will be a plus for he successful candidate.
