Quality Technician

We are seeking a Quality Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software issues.

Responsibilities:

• Know all safety features and safety rules.

• Safety & quality conscious at all times

• Demonstrate good housekeeping skills

• Responsible for monitoring plant adherence to company quality procedures and notifying

  management of deviation

• Ensure Client samples are of the highest quality through selection and inspection

•  Aide in the management and training of Quality Procedures

• Aide in root cause investigation and corrective action implementation

• Manage the Nonconforming Product Procedure

• Manage Nonconformance Report data by logging the information and tracking the NCR

  through closure

• Ensure proper maintenance and completion of quality records for specified shift.

• Perform product inspection audits at set intervals at each machine to ensure product

  being produced meets or exceeds the specified standards.

• Drive the improvement of our quality metrics (Client complaints, internal

  nonconformances, PPM defect rate, ect.) to meet the goals set forth by management

• Computer literate

• Sufficient organizational and mathematical skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Able to work with employees at all levels of the organization

• Able read and understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or

  schedule form

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and understanding of commercial print terminology
• Knowledge and understanding of basic print and bindery defects
• Overall understanding of commercial print process
