Job Description
Skillforce Inc. is currently hiring carpenters for an ongoing commercial project in Fort Worth, TX. Location is near Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. The ideal lead carpenter candidate is a well-round carpenter with experience with acoustical ceilings and framing. Pay is $24 - $25/hour based on experience and skillset.
Lead Carpenter Requirements:
- Assemble, erect and repair frameworks - wood and metal
- Install flooring, windows, doors, interior trim, cabinetry, roofing, siding, insulation, drywall, and more.
- Ability to do trim work
- Ability to hang drywall
- Install of floors, roofs, and walls
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
- Ability to design your own layout is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and follow OSHA safety regulations
Carpenter Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven experience as a carpenter
- OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus but not required
- Supervisory experience
- Mechanically inclined
- Must have your own tools
- Your own reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time, Day Shift
Salary: $24 - $25 per hour Pay based on experience.
