Traveling Master Electrician - Commercial

Position Overview:

The Commercial Electrician at Force Building Services will work with our Special Projects Team, collaborating closely with the owners and the Client Services Special Projects Manager. This position is responsible for spearheading electrical projects, specializing in low voltage, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and fabrication. The Commercial Electrician will serve as the lead electrical expert on all assigned projects, requiring travel up to 100 percent of the time. Additionally, the Commercial Electrician must maintain a valid electrical license.

Essential Job Functions:

• Spearhead electrical projects, specializing in low voltage, PLC, and fabrication.
• Collaborate with the owners and the Client Services Special Projects Manager to ensure successful project execution.
• Travel up to 100 percent of the time to various project locations.
• Apply expertise in low voltage systems, ensuring precise installation and troubleshooting.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to integrate control systems effectively.
• Contribute to the fabrication process, ensuring electrical components meet project specifications.
• Maintain a valid electrical license.
• Be the qualified person on all contractor's licenses.
• Willingness to become licensed in any other applicable state based on operational demands.

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Hold and maintain a valid master electrical license.
• Technical proficiency in low voltage systems, PLC, and fabrication.
• Valid electrical license in any residing state.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to document work accurately.
• Travel up to 100 percent of the time.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in various commercial settings and be on-call when needed.
• Ability to travel up to 100 percent of the time.

Work Environment:

• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• May be required to work on-call and outside of regular business hours.
