Job Description

Position : REMOTE
TRAVEL : REQUIRED

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop ITD-specific agency views using C# and Python within the AASHTOWare Project Materials (AWP) platform.
  • Integrate and customize reports using ActiveReports (GrapeCity) for data visualization and analysis.
  • Collaborate with AWP vendor and ITD construction materials staff to understand requirements and implement solutions.
  • Implement and maintain API interfaces for seamless data exchange between AWP and other systems.
  • Work independently on development tasks while also contributing to team projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to AWP development and materials management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in C# and Python programming languages with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience working with ActiveReports (GrapeCity) or similar reporting tools for generating interactive reports.
  • Familiarity with API development and integration using RESTful or SOAP protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and interpret technical requirements.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with AASHTOWare Project Materials (AWP) or similar materials management software is a plus.
