Job Description
Job Title: Pipefitter-HVAC Manufacturing
Pay: $26.00-$28.00 Hourly
Location: Dallas, Texas 75247
Hours/Days: Monday through Friday 5am-1:15pm (30 min lunch)

Scope of Position:
Working under the general direction of the supervisor or lead person, performs a wide variety of duties associated with metal fabrication equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install industrial piping systems: chill water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water.
- Read blueprints and submittals.
- Lay out the internal piping design for an HVAC unit based on external inputs/outputs.
- Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines.
- Understands how to safely operate powered hand tools.
- Trained in overhead crane operations.
- Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping.
- Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision.
- Practice all safety procedures.
- Hold license to operate equipment necessary for the role.
Position Requirements:
- 5 years pipefitter experience preferred.
- 2-3 years hands on construction / industrial related mechanical work.
- Ownership of pipefitter hand tools.
- Knowledge of pipefitter equipment, power tools, and fabrication methods.
- Knowledge of different types of pipe, valves, fittings, and their functions.
- General knowledge of code requirements and limitations.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards, including ladders.
