High School Math Teacher
Job Summary:
Charleston Collegiate School is seeking a full-time Math Teacher (Algebra 1-Calculus) for the 2024-2025 school year. Successful candidates will be creative, energetic, and highly skilled teachers who are passionate about student-centered, collaborative, experiential learning. Candidates should also have a proven track record of success teaching high school physics and math. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching all levels from Algebra 1 to Calculus, to upper school students. Salary range: $50-60K, commensurate with experience.
Charleston Collegiate School (CCS) is an independent day school which strives to recognize, nurture, and challenge each of its students. Essential Qualifications:

- Experience with experiential education and project-based learning, especially in developing and adapting curriculum for group projects with learning goals in mind.
- A positive 'can-do' attitude and growth mindset
- A willingness to participate in student-life activities e.g., advisory, club leadership, coaching, after-school programs
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject discipline, e.g., Education or mathematics.
- A minimum of 3-5 years teaching experience

- The ability to teach other subject disciplines and elective courses
