Food Stylist

As a Food Stylist at Nature's Flavors, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal of food for various media projects. You will collaborate closely with our team of photographers, videographers, and directors to conceptualize and execute visually stunning food presentations that captivate audiences. From carefully arranging ingredients to selecting the perfect props and backgrounds, your attention to detail and creative flair will bring our culinary creations to life.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and directors to understand project requirements and vision.
• Select and source ingredients, props, and backgrounds to complement each food presentation.
• Prepare and style food according to project specifications, ensuring it looks fresh, appetizing, and photogenic.
• Utilize various techniques, tools, and tricks to enhance the appearance of food, including cooking methods, garnishes, and food styling products.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Stay updated on food trends, styling techniques, and industry best practices to continuously improve skills and techniques.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Food Stylist or similar role in a professional culinary environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food presentation principles.
• Creativity and artistic flair with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving project requirements and timelines.
• Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required.
• Previous cook/chef
