Job Description
EMS is searching for an experienced Millwright Mechanic for our AWS Night Shift! Full time - Every other Fri-Sat-Sun off! Plus days off during the week.
$2,000 sign-on on bonus
Position Summary:
Performs routine repairs and maintenance and assists in more complex maintenance and repair of plant facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities:- Make routine, periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment.
- Tests, inspects, troubleshoots and repairs machines and equipment
- Maintains repair logs
- Works from maintenance schedule
- Performs basic painting, machine and equipment repair, sheet metal fabrication and welding. Troubleshoots equipment or facilities problems and report them to supervisor.
- Uses variety of hand, power tools.
- Other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
- High School/Trade School
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
