We are currently seeking a Compliance Policy and Governance Analyst to join our growing compliance department. You will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of a robust compliance, governance, and controls framework. The ideal candidate has a background that involves direct exposure to development of second-line control testing for BSA/AML programs, and monitoring of related policies, procedures and risk assessments. This role will be key in ensuring UTB’s adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. Candidates must excel in oral and written communication, technical writing, and data analysis skills, as well as a strong understanding of FFEIC BSA/AML examination guidelines. This position reports to the VP, Head of Compliance Programs, Policies and Controls and will office from our north Dallas corporate headquarters.

What You'll Do:
- Assist and support in leading enterprise-wide compliance process and control improvement programs.
- Execute second-line compliance control testing program, specifically BSA/AML controls.
- Execute compliance metric program including performance, control, and risk metrics.
- Execute other compliance risk assessments in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Enhance compliance policies and frameworks in conjunction with compliance leaders.
- Support execution of compliance technology strategy and roadmap.
- Administer of risk and control self-assessment program, key risk indicators program, and risk event management program.
- Execute objectives of the Risk and Compliance Department including strategic planning, resourcing, and management.
- Assist in planning and managing complex compliance programs and projects to ensure high-quality and timely execution and communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. This includes measuring, monitoring, and reporting on progress; identifying and timely escalating issues blocking progress; and reprioritizing to adapt to changing conditions, needs, and constraints.
- Stay current on industry and regulatory requirements and issues.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business-related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CRCM, CFE) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience required in one or more related field(s) including risk-advisory, banking, internal audit, regulatory compliance, BSA/AML Compliance, foreign correspondent banking, Money Service Business, and/or fintech companies.
- Experience using automated BSA/AML monitoring systems and performing manual transaction monitoring tasks.
- Experience executing independent BSA/AML testing.
- Solid understanding of banking regulations, including BSA/AML, OFAC,
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements.
- Experience with and understanding of international payments, foreign correspondent banking, cryptocurrency, and wire transfers preferred.
- A strong understanding of data analytics using Microsoft excel pivot tables or other similar data analysis tools. Experience with SQL is a plus.
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) Preferred
- Certified BSA/AML Professional (CBAP) Beneficial
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) – Beneficial
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Magner (CRCM) – Beneficial
- Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS) – Beneficial
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) - Beneficial
