Full Time Dental Assistant

Job Position : Full Time Dental Assistant. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to closing (5-6 pm). Prior working experience at dental or medical office is helpful.

Responsibilities include checking patients in and out, explaining treatment options, and assisting the dental procedures. Candidates must have good verbal skills, be friendly, energetic, and eager to learn with an outgoing personality to greet patients with a smile. Responsibilities

• Welcome patients in the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatments
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Keep the operating room clean and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records

Skills

• Prior experience as dental assistant, new graduates are welcome
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• High school diploma; or dental assistant school is preferred
