Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Administer and oversee medication to patients under doctor's supervision if applicable.
• Assist aides and nurses with lifting moving and transferring patients as needed.
• Work with nursing team to maintain safe and clean work environments.
• Oversee and Perform routine patient hygiene activities such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, etc
• Oversee and Assist with service of meals to patients in accordance with dietary instructions.
• Monitor the flow of oxygen and intravenous solutions for consistency with Physician orders.
• Oversee, Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Oversee and Change dressings as directed by the attending Physician.
• Report any unusual situations regarding patients to the DON
• Practice Infection Control.
• Oversee and Assist in all emergency situations as instructed.
• Provide in-services for staff when necessary. Complete as applicable by state requirements.
• Perform admissions and discharges working closely with with facility management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by facility or agency.
