Job Description

Machinists & CNC Machine Operators

Automation Personnel Services is looking for Machinists & CNC Machine Operators to work for a company based in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from standards and make necessary adjustments.

Pay Rate:

$20.00- $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule and hours

Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, some Saturdays are required and must be able to work overtime.

Machinists & CNC Machine Operators Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain quality precision machinery.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
Program and adjust machine controls to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the machining process, such as tool wear or material irregularities.
Follow established safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Machinists & CNC Machine Operators Requirements and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of Proven experience as a Machinist or CNC Machine Operator.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Ability to operate precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
Ability to lift 50 pounds as needed.
