Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse Educator / RN Surgical
Responsibilities:
- Assist with regulatory body inspections as needed
- Provide ongoing support for Orientation opportunities as needed, including, but not limited to group/1-1 instruction,
- proctoring testing, hands-on clinical instruction
- Provide remediation for clinical employees as needed
- Provide ongoing clinical support for staff use of Electronic Medical Record, in conjunction with Information Technology Department
- Maintain superior clinical skills in the dialysis setting and provide hands-on clinical support in clinics as assigned by
- Director of Education and Training
- Act as a mentor and role model for all staff
Required Qualifications:
- BCLS (all Educators), ACLS (Acute Educators)
- Certified Dialysis Nurse/Certified Nephrology Nurse (may be obtained within first 6 months of employment
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Preferred Qualifications: BCLS instructor
- ACLS instructor
