General Laborer

Your Green Team is seeking a General Laborer to join our team in Plant City, FL to manage compost application on customer’s lawns and lead the cleanup process following application. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for helping customers, understands the importance of using environmentally responsible lawn care treatments, and wants to expand their knowledge in our industry.

If you have prior experience in Landscaping, Maintenance, Construction, and General Labor, or if you like working outdoors, we want to hear from you!

The starting pay range is $15.00-$17.00 per hour depending on experience. Monday to Thursday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm schedule.

This position will report to the Field Manager.

• Help load the truck each day with the materials needed for the job.
• Use equipment such as shovels, wheelbarrows, and self-propelled machines to aerate customer lawns.
• Spread compost over the lawn and gather/remove any spilled materials.
• Cleanup sidewalks, driveways, and other ground features after finishing a job.
• Drive company vehicle on an assigned route and maintain the vehicle, including cleanliness and submitting requests for routine maintenance to the fleet department.
• Use a smartphone or tablet to follow routes, check job specs, and input details.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Field Manager.

• Lawn Maintenance, landscaping experience preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to work Saturday hours on an as-needed basis to meet production goals.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, with or without any accommodation.
• Collaborate together with a team of 1-4 other crew members.
• Dependable, reliable, and comfortable working in an unsupervised environment.
