Responsibilities:
As a GA Pre-K Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and preparing students for future success. Your responsibilities will include:
Creating Engaging Lessons: You will develop and deliver lessons that are not only educational but also exciting and engaging for young learners. By incorporating creative activities and hands-on experiences, you will keep students actively involved in their learning journey.
Transition Preparation: You will assist students in their transition to Kindergarten by providing activities and experiences that help them develop the skills they need for success in their next academic step. From practicing letters and numbers to building social and emotional resilience, you will ensure that each child is well-prepared for the next stage of their education.
Artistic Exploration: At our school, we believe in the power of the arts to inspire and enrich young minds. You will have the opportunity to introduce students to a variety of artistic experiences, from painting and drawing to music and drama, fostering creativity and self-expression in every child.
Positive Classroom Environment: Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment is essential for student success. You will work to maintain a positive atmosphere where all students feel valued, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Family Collaboration: Building strong partnerships with families is key to supporting student learning and development. You will collaborate with parents and caregivers to gain insights into each child's unique strengths, challenges, and interests, ensuring a holistic approach to education.
Progress Monitoring: Tracking student progress is an essential part of your role. You will regularly assess student learning and development, providing feedback to parents and caregivers to keep them informed about their child's growth and achievements.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
2. Valid teaching certification/license from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
3. Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
4. Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education curriculum.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
6. Familiarity with Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS).
7. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
8. Compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
