MidAmerica National Bank, a locally owned financial institution in central Illinois, has an excellent opportunity to join our Customer Service department as a full-time Customer Service Specialist. Established in 1933, MidAmerica National Bank provides financial services to local communities through our branches located in Fulton, Marshall and McDonough counties. We are currently accepting applications/resumes for a Customer Service Specialist in our Canton Banking Center to be responsible for performing a wide range of duties related to providing to customers and employees direct service and support for the bank's deposit operations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, requests, and concerns via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Assist customers with account maintenance, and online banking services, and ATM and debit card maintenance.
  
• Assist with new loan input and transactions, remote deposit processing, and supply ordering.
• Provide accurate information regarding a wide range of financial products and services, including accounts and loans.
• Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Educate customers on financial products, services, and digital banking platforms to enhance their banking experience.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
• Customer service experience in a financial institution or related industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
